Who We Serve
At Bodymind Microschools Tucson, we serve girls in Grades 5–8 who thrive in a supportive, relational, and highly individualized environment.
We are especially supportive of girls who feel overlooked or underconfident in larger or mixed-gender classroom settings. These young women develop confidence when given space to grow in a relational, female-centered environment.
The Bodymind Approach to Learning™ was originally designed to support students with language-based learning disabilities, attention challenges (including ADHD), and executive functioning difficulties. While especially effective for these students, our model also benefits more typical learners who thrive in small, nurturing classrooms where instruction is personalized and community is central.
Our students include:
Students who benefit from small class sizes, low-pressure learning, and customized academic pacing
Learners with a wide range of learning profiles, including what’s sometimes called neurodivergent or outside-the-box thinkers
Students with learning differences, including struggles with reading
Students with executive functioning difficulties, such as challenges with planning, organization, task engagement, or working memory
Students with an IEP (Individualized Education Program), especially the following classifications:
Specific Learning Disability (SLD), such as dyslexia
Other Health Impairment (OHI), such as anxiety disorders and attention deficits, including ADHD
Speech or Language Impairment (SLI)
Autism (A), limited to mild Autism Spectrum presentations, including high-functioning autism (HFA) and what was previously described as Asperger’s
Despite this, we do not believe students are defined by labels.
Instead, we honor each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and developmental path, creating a learning environment where growth happens academically, socially, emotionally, and personally.
We're not quite ready to begin enrollment— but we're getting close.
Bodymind Microschools is preparing to welcome students in Grades 5–8, with the anticipated opening of our flagship school in Oro Valley for the 2026–2027 school year.
Our timeline depends on aligned funding and community support, and we’re currently building our early interest list to keep families informed as we grow. If you’re considering Bodymind Microschools for your child, we’d love to hear from you.
Families on our early interest list will receive updates about key milestones—including virtual information sessions, open house dates, enrollment timelines, and tuition information—as soon as they become available.
Tuition & Fees
Tuition for the 2026–2027 school year is $19,600, plus a $550 technology fee, for a total annual cost of $20,150. This includes all student supplies, books, and technology. There are no additional program fees.
We proudly accept Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds. Most families receive between $7,000 and $8,000 per child, which can be applied directly toward tuition. ESA funds are disbursed quarterly. For more information, visit the Arizona Department of Education ESA website.
A one-time $1,000 enrollment deposit is due upon acceptance and will be applied to your tuition balance. Families may choose from a range of payment plans—including pay-in-full, semi-annual, quarterly, or monthly options. Modest administrative fees apply to installment plans.
